• Profesional titulado en Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería Mecánica o carreras afines
• Tres (3) años de experiencia acreditada en mantenimiento de ferrovías (construcción u operación de vías férreas)
• Conocimientos en mantenimiento de vías y/o obras, manejo de equipos de vías y de obras de arte y rehabilitación o construcción de vías férreas
• Tener disponibilidad para laborar en Villa El Salvador

• Asegurar la operatividad de la infraestructura por dónde circula el material rodante, realizando una adecuada ejecución del programa de mantenimiento de las vías férreas y de las obras civiles (viaductos y puentes)
• Solicitar las capacitaciones necesarias con el objetivo de que el personal se encuentre debidamente preparado para la realización de las operaciones.
• Apoyar en la gestión del área y coordinar con Recursos Humanos las incidencias o necesidades de personal que se presenten.
• Validar los requerimientos de materiales, equipos u otros instrumentos para las actividades de mantenimiento.
• Proponer, elaborar, revisar y consolidar los procedimientos que aplican a los procesos del área como la estandarización de actividades.
• Participar en la elaboración del plan de mantenimiento anual.
• Remplazar a los supervisores de mantenimiento, teniendo el control de las actividades de la cuadrilla.
• Representar al área en las diversas reuniones en las que se le convoque.
• Atender a los proveedores de productos de materiales para el área.
• Asumir las funciones y actividades del Jefe de vías y obras en caso de ausencia
• Cumplir con otras funciones inherentes al cargo
